My wife and I had been (skeptically) searching for a contractor for renovation work to modernize a 60 year old home. We say skeptically because of workmanship and generally issues that arise, including cost and dependability within the industry. We found Premier through an article in the Toronto Star that gave advice for homeowners. We searched RenoMark.ca and were instantly drawn to the quality of workmanship in pictures on the Premier Quality Renovations website.

Through the vetting process Peter was the most responsive of all the contractors we contacted. He took the time to discuss our project and recommendations in detail (through several phone calls) while other contractors simply said “we need to see the place”. We also have very short timelines (30 days from possession to move date), a limited budget, and issues getting to assess the work. Peter discussed where we could save money and stood firm on his process and quality, explaining that quality of work was paramount. We decided to move forward.

Peter involved us in every step of the decision making process, we discussed pros and cons of making certain decisions throughout the project. But what stood out were his people. We had a gentleman by the name of Wasek, a master craftsman assigned to our Reno. Wasek was the most skilled, dedicated, and detailed oriented craftsman we worked with. Wasek dedicated 12 hours days, six days a week to complete the work so we could move in. His attention to detail and quality was unmatched. When there was one concern with quality, he fixed it the next day. We consider Wasek a friend.

We are beyond pleased with the results and would recommend Peter, Wasek and their team to anyone looking for quality work. Our renovation went a little over budget because we decided to pay for higher end fixtures, flooring etc., since lower end items would not do the quality of work justice.

To sum it up, Peter and team were reliable, trustworthy, fair, accommodating and dedicated. You get what you pay we received quality materials and great craftsmanship for a fair price. This was the best investment we could have made.
