We were referred to Peter and Premier Quality Renovations by the instructor of a course we took to learn about home building and the Ontario Building Code. The course was facilitated through the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), and it turns out Peter had also taken the course back in the day. Peter’s company is a Renomark certified contractor, which is important to us since this designation ensures we are working with a professional, educated and highly skilled contractor.

We contacted Peter, and he got back to us within the hour. We had an introductory phone call and he met us at our house in downtown Toronto the following day. We had a lot of questions since we weren’t sure about the scope of our renovation in combination with our budget, and this was our first major renovation project. Peter took the time to walk through the house with us for about 2 hours, providing advice, suggestions, and explaining the various intricacies of the renovation process. It was fantastic, and really cleared things up for us. We were very interested in being involved in the renovation process, and Peter was quite happy to explain the various service offerings he provides. We were drawn to the ‘be your own general contractor’ stream he offers, given our interest in construction and desire to be involved in the decision making process. Peter was very open to helping us in any way we desired – either taking on the whole project from start to finish, or assisting in an advisory role with us organizing the various trades as the manager. He was encouraging and made us feel like we were capable of tackling our project. Very refreshing and it’s clear Peter just wants to help in any way he can. He truly loves what he does and it shows!

Overall Peter was extremely easy to talk to, polite and courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He even called us later in the evening the day of our meeting just to touch base and see if we had any follow-up questions. We look forward to working with Peter and his team on our renovation project. Its true what they say, Peter is truly Glaw-some!
