Invariably, the most important decision to be made in any renovation is not the choice of materials or design, but rather the choice of people to do the work.  How do you really know who to entrust your home to?  Get the wrong people and it will cost you time, money and dissatisfaction with a finished project that you’re stuck living with for years to come.  I could not be more pleased with having chosen Peter and his team at Premier Quality Renovations to complete my renovations.  I made a lot of decisions in the course of planning and implementing my renovations, but choosing Peter was the single best decision I made.

How did I find them? I’ve been toying with my renovations for a couple of years.  I was fortunate enough that Peter and his team did a massive renovation at a neighbour’s home, and I had the chance to watch the project unfold and see the finished product.  Peter was unfailingly personable and repeatedly invited me in to show me the work his team was doing.  He wasn’t pitching for work and didn’t know that I had renovations in mind – he just clearly loves what he does and is proud of the work they do.  The attention to detail, the professionalism of everyone involved, the obvious pride taken in the work done, the cleanliness of the job site, and of course the quality of the finished product left me convinced that I had found the team I wanted to work on my home.

How did they do? In the course of my project, I got to work with Peter’s team and a cast of trades that Peter works with.  There wasn’t a weak link among them.  I met his plumber (Arthur), his cabinetry guy (Frank – such a craftsman!), his stone guy (Ziggy), his glass and mirror guy (Fazal), his insulation guy (Marjo), his electricians, and his painter.  Each of them was amazing.  The quality of their work and attention to detail was unmatched.  That I got to know them all by name is a testament to how friendly they were and how enjoyable the experience of working with them was.  Whatever trades you need, Peter has a person for that and each them has been vetted to meet his high standards.  Peter’s own staff was every bit as amazing.  Adrian, Janusz, Oskar, Wacek and Mario were fantastic.  A special shout-out to Janusz for the most perfect tile work you’ll ever find and Adrian for his skill and attention to detail.  They are so talented – I’d trust them with any job in my home (and be sure to ask them for their opinions – they have all kinds of great ideas about how to improve your project if you invite them to share their views).  Everything was done thoughtfully and deliberately and with obvious skill – nothing slapped together, never a shortcut or cutting corners, nothing done in a rush to finish.  The end result?  I’m picky and have high standards, and I simply can’t find a single thing to quibble with.  Everything is … perfect.  It is so rewarding to have started with an idea in my head and to see the finished product exactly as I imagined it.
